The same game, with small differences
The first thing to note with Gacha Art is that it doesn’t drastically rework the original game. Like most mods for the social RPG, this version only adds its own content but makes no changes to the fundamental premise and gameplay mechanics. In this case, there is a lot of aesthetic content added — allowing you to modify your avatar in even more detail.
One strength of this version, however, is that it takes most game features — both from the original game as well as other modded versions — and makes them available entirely free. You can enjoy solo or multiplayer experiences through different game modes, effectively offering you more options compared to the original. After playing, you can try to raise your own pets. This version also hosts over 150 pets and objects to accompany you.
However, although it was built from the original Gacha Life, it doesn’t quite capture the full development build. Players have reported specific scenarios where the on-screen display glitches, or in some cases, causes the entire game to crash. This, however, appears to be rare and intermittent, as others have noted the app to be running just fine. This mod is entirely ad-free.
Welcome improvement for Gacha players
By introducing a lot of customization materials, custom game modes, and additional in-game content, Gacha Art positions itself as one of the better mods in place of the original social RPG. It allows you to make your avatar even more unique, and pair it up with one of the many pets now made available. Aside from reported issues, this mod is a great game.
